Our Back Story
We have often been at marathon expos looking for something fun or
special for our race. There isn’t an awful lot. A few bumper
stickers, a keychain and some hats and shirts. Even if you want to
risk a new shirt or hat for race day, there aren’t a lot of good
sayings, let alone good quality at a reasonable price. And, if you
want to personalize your shirt, you are left with a Sharpie or some
masking tape – neither a great solution.So we created Back Stories – race bibs for your back that give a voice to your run. Our Bibs with Attitude have something to say for the fast and slow, first timer or reluctant runner. Some of us are running for fun, but many others we have met are running for a reason, and after 16 weeks of training for a marathon, they are proud to tell others why they are out there. Our Personalized Bibs let you add a face and a name to your bib. We have heard from people running for the memory of a family member, a friend who beat cancer or just in appreciation of their dad. Whatever your reason for running, we can make a bib to tell your story. We figure that as long as you are running behind someone for 3-6 hours, you might as well bring something to read and make the race memorable to those you pass.
